Once a month, the Amiens Comédie Club, also known as the ‘Amiens Comedy Club’, usually brings five or six comedians together on a stage in Amiens. It's a night of laughter that people in Amiens really love, and even the local paper, the Courrier picard, writes about it. We've been going for a season or two and try not to miss a night. And a word of advice for visitors: you really need to be fluent in French to have a good evening.

The Amiens Comédie Club was launched in November 2023 by Amiens comedian and actor Mayel Elhajaoui, seen in ‘Demain nous appartient’ on TF1, and his brother Nordine, with the Amiens association Les Artistes en Herbe. The idea: to let people in the region discover stand-up comedians without having to go all the way to Paris.
Until now, the shows have mostly been held in one of the screens at the Pathé cinema on boulevard de Belfort, near the station. The club has also played at the Moxy, on rue Paul Tellier.
Last season, the opening night and the April show were both listed as sold out on the club's online box office.

For the opening night of its fourth season, on Thursday 15 October 2026, the Amiens Comédie Club is playing the auditorium at MégaCité, near the Zénith and the Stade de la Licorne. According to the poster, six comedians are on the bill: Hugo Le Van, Mayel (Mayel Elhajaoui, who started the club), Camille Lorente, Jason Brokerss, Noam Sinseau and Tareek. An opening act starts the evening at 20:00, then the stand-up show begins at 20:30. Tickets are €20, online or in store at Running Conseil, 14 rue de Noyon.
The club had already scheduled the last night of the previous season at MégaCité, on 9 June 2026, for the 100th anniversary of the Foire expo, the Amiens fair. The Courrier picard, the main local daily paper, announced the opening night. It also mentions a project the club is working on: a comedy festival, which should run over three days in September 2027.
For the rest of the season, the venue may change from one date to the next. The club's Instagram account, @amienscomedieclub, already announces comedian Mahé on 20 November and has the link to the box office.
“A night of laughter that people in Amiens really love: something we look forward to and try not to miss.”
With children: a word of advice
BilletReduc lists the 15 October show as ‘tout public’ (suitable for all ages), and last season, the club's Eventbrite pages gave no minimum age. Just a word of caution: it's not all the time, but some comedians have an act that isn't suitable for under-12s. With younger children, it's up to you, depending on the line-up.
Visitors: you really need to be fluent in French
The show is in French. If you're visiting, you really need to be fluent in the language to have a good evening: otherwise, we think you'll probably get bored.
For us, it's a night of laughter we look forward to. Season 4 opens on Thursday 15 October 2026 at MégaCité.
Our tips before you go
- Book early: last season, at least two shows were listed as sold out on the club's online box office.
- Follow the Instagram account @amienscomedieclub: the club announces its upcoming dates there and shares the box office link.
- When the show is at the Pathé, there is a 500-space pay car park under the cinema, and the station is close by.
- MégaCité is near the Zénith and the Stade de la Licorne. By bus, line N4 stops at Pôle Licorne: check your route on the Ametis website before you set off.
- The club also ran ‘Le Labo’ in 2025 and 2026: free stand-up nights with up-and-coming comedians from Amiens, Paris and Lille, at other venues around town.
- Not to be confused with the Comédie d'Amiens, a different venue on rue de Sully, or with ‘Amiens, c'est des bar(re)s Comedy Club’, another comedy association in Amiens.
